SAMANÁ, Dominican Republic. - President Leonel Fernandez ordered an investigation into an airplane stolen early Sunday from La Isabela International Airport, located in the sector of Higuero.

Upon making the announcement Tuesday, Tourism minister Francisco Javier Garcia said the ministers of the Armed Forces, Joaquin Perez Feliz and of Justice, Radhamés Jiménez will head the probe.

The official affirmed that the authorities will take a series of actions to locate the airplane as well as the thieves, and discarded that the incident will have any effect on the number of tourists which visit the country.

Garcia, speaking to reporters during the inaugural of the road grid Tourist Boulevard of the Atlantic, added that the authorities must provide a quick response to prevent snowballing speculation.

This whole investigation is a laugh. Leonel Fernadez is an international joke with a puppet ministry.
These guys are all involved in all kinds of thefts, prostitution rings, drug smuggling and whatever else you can think of.
These same guys can't figure out who stle the fence around Las Americas airport. This is a much more complicated issue the theft of an aircraft.

ah, that's where you're wrong Telemeco, it wouldn't be investigated, had there been an involvement of a relative of an official close to lee-flea, he would never allow it.

Is it true that this plane is owned by a priest from Arizona ..and not the Punta Cana Group ?? However it was parked in a hanger owned by the Punta Cana Group ,,The fuel was stolen from another plane and transported in a golf cart and all under the noses of a security team there .

"Danilo has not selected his teammate ballot; they refute Felix Bautista"

There appears to be some miscommunication.
