Santo Domingo.- The Police arrested Thursday in Boca Chica, the Dominican accused in the kidnapping and later murder of five Panamanians of Chinese origin in that Central American country, whose corpses were found buried in a house.

It said Fermín Antonio Taveras Rodriguez and/or Angel Betancourt, who is wanted in Panama together with others, in connection with the death of Yesenia Lou Kam,  18; Young Wu Ken, 27; Sammy Zenq Chen, 19; Yoel Liu Wung, 19 and Georgina Lee Chen, 18.

The gruesome murders occurred in the town La Chorrera, 30 kilometers west of Panama City, after the victims had been kidnapped for ransom.

The Police said Taveras was caught in 1st St. of the subdivision Andres, hiding in a tank full of water, trying to evade police pursuit, and that the fugitive had scars in all 10 fingers, from surgery to erase his prints. The Police added that he also changed his hair color to blonde.

Congratulations on the good police work ,,it had been earlier reported that there was more than one Dominican involved in these murders, I hope the Dominican gangs of thugs who are operating in San jose in Costa Rica can also be put away ,
The doctor who tried to erase these finger prints also needs to be caught although I thought DNA had almost superceded finger print evidence.
I hope the next drama here will not be the refusal to extradite this killer to Panama

They need to give a good ole fashion Chinese Torture and then make him suffer some really atrocious maming, then throw lemon juice and salt all over his wounds before putting him out of his misery. This is the poster child for a POS on two legs.

Trujillo's Dominican torture equipment is still available and on display at his former mansion in San Cristobal. It is now a training facility for Dominican prison warders. How appropriate is that?

There are bad apples everywhere.. but to say that Costa Rican's don't want anything to do with Dominicans is non-sense. I happened to visit Costa Rica earlier this year and Dominicans are regarded as respectable business owners/managers.

What a loser. Look into this guy eyes and you can clearly see a murderer. Not all Dominicans are murderer and thief like this guy. One person doesn’t represent a whole 10 million people.
