Santo Domingo.- With just six months to the presidential elections, a new conflict marring the image and internal unity of Dominican Republic’s only opposition party (PRD) arose yesterday when the head of its Justice Commission and of the Lawyers Guild filed a challenge in the National Magistrate Council (CNM) against the high court candidates Rafael Luciano Pichardo and Mariano German, but was immediately by its senior leaders.
