SANTO DOMINGO. - According to the latest survey by the pollster Asisa, if the presidential elections were to be held today, ruling PLD party candidate Danilo Medina would win with 53.1% of the votes, to 40.5% for his rival in the opposition PRD party Hipólito Mejía.
The poll on 1,519 people conducted between December 2 and 3 reveals that Medina leads Mejía in all the regions, with the lowest support in the north zone with 46.1%, and as high as 57.5% in the South
The survey disclosed by Asisa executives Wednesday found that minority party (Country Alliance) candidate Guillermo Moreno is in a distant third place with 1.5%, while Julian Serrulle and Max Puig are tied for fourth, with just 0.1% of the votes.

These figures only reflect that it is basically a toss up. It can go either way and it is reflective that the Dominican people remain undesided.
I continue to urge the Dominican people not to vote for either candidate but to cast a vote of protest don't vote for the traditional parties, just vote for anyone else, that is not the PRD or PLD. It does not matter who wins as long as the traditional parties, don't return to power, and realized that can't keep pushing the Dominican people and continue with their shenanigans.
My vote is for Guillermo Moreno 2012 !!! Even is he does not win, but we have to start somewhere and I am going to start with him.

Now some of my purple friends my get upset at this but in life one must accurate and fair:
"According to ECLAC, between 1990 and 1991, investment in education in Dominican Republic was 1.3% of GDP, from 2002 to 2003 the percentage reached 3% (1.8% +), during the administration of Hipólito Mejía, although returned to a decreased investment in the last two Governments of President Leonel Fernandez.
These figures indicate that in the early 90's, Dominican Republic was the country in Latin America that least invested in education, behind Guatemala, Peru and Paraguay. In 2003, the country improved in the rankings, placing themselves above Peru, Guatemala and Ecuador."

Here is another example of how the modern 12 yearsof neo-liberal policies of Lie-onel Fernandez have improved basic services in the Dominican Republic. Look with what dignity and reverence the purple government of the “modernists’” globalist treat the dead.
"Horror: rotting corpses dissected in the sight of all"
“It was approximately 11: 00 a.m., when medical examiners of Santiago, opened a corpse in the clear view of all passers-by, to practice an autopsy.”
“But the decision by the forensic medical Fatima Frómeta, her aides and the Deputy Prosecutor, Miguel Ramos,to open the corpse of a man in decomposition out in the open and for all to see, was not on pure whim. Medical professionals currently do have not a suitable place for autopsies, the morgue of the Hospital Regional Dr. José María Cabral y Baez, is undergoing repairs for several weeks.”
PLD improvisation and lack of planning at its best! Yet thye build non-priority METROS and gimmicky overpasses and tunnels.

Imagine if that was you or a relative laid out for everyone to see!
Yet these purple a-holes want us to believe their rhetoric and not what we see with our own eyes.
Given thier disregard for human life how can we not expect that the numbers they give to international organization are not massaged to give an appearance that they are spending more on education. No objective analysis can demonstrate that education under this mafia has improved one iota; From the physical facilities to the ancillary services or the curriculum’s content. They ordered millions of dollars in Mexican textbooks that were produced via a sweetheart deal by Melanio Pared that full of errors and total disrespect full to Domican, history, culture and sovereignty.
For God’s sake the can even provide a SIMPLE dam breakfast to the students, that so desperately need it, without creating an epidemic of diarrhea!
