Santo Domingo.- The impresario George Nader reiterated that Shakira’s concert will take place Wednesday the 30th, despite the lawsuit filed against him by the Spanish art dealer Jose Carlos Bergantiños.

He discarded the information from the agency EFE that the Spaniard resorted to Dominican Republic’s courts to charge US$5.0 million allegedly owed to Bergantiños, who expertly insists payment from the proceeds of Shakira’s concert.

“Jose Carlos Bergantiños disclosed a restraining order against the Dominican impresario Reynaldo Nicholas Nader (George Nader), responsible for the show "The sun rises world tour," to take place in the Dominican capital by the performer of "Waka, waka," the agency’s report says.

"We’ve gone to court because Mr. Nader refuses to honor the debt with Mr. Bergantiños and now justice will hear this restraining order, which doesn’t  necessarily seeks to prevent Shakira’s concert, and instead that its sponsor companies retain the money they should give to Mr. Nader," the Spaniard’s lawyer Natalia Ramos told Efe.
