Santo Domingo.- Stoked by media criticism for failing to resign after denouncing the lack of support by the Leonel Fernandez Administration against corrupt government officials, Anticorruption Department (DPCA) director Hotoniel Bonilla keeps mum on the cases of irregularities that he investigates.

And though he pledged to divulge the status of each of the pending cases in the first three months this year, newspaper Caribe reports that to avoid the press his secretary always says that he’s busy.

Among the DPCA’s pending cases is the alleged malfeasance by Héctor Rodriguez Pimentel in the canals and dams agency (Indrhi), which led Bonilla to call him “pathologically corrupt,” the irregularities in industrial development agency Promypime, the millions allegedly swiped by Altagracia province senator Amable Aristy in the Dominican Municipal League, corruption in several city councils and in the Senate and Chamber of Deputies employee cooperatives.

He does NOTHING by his own admission. He said he has no one to investigate.

He is a typical politico retard.

If can't do his job get someone else who will. The real problem is we have so much corruption starting at the very top that anyone put in charge will be basically held back from doing anything by the people in charge of them. If they start getting on the trail of anyone important they could lose thier job. No accountability in our government and extreme corruption from the top down.
