Santo Domingo.- Supreme Court (SCJ) president Jorge Subero Monday called money laundering from drug trafficking the greatest threat to Dominican Republic’s real estate property.

He said the situation takes place as drug trafficking permeates all structures in our societies worldwide. “It’s an increasingly lurking danger and a very coveted fruit for the whitening and laundering is real estate property.”

He said the Real Estate Jurisdiction and other agencies must remain on the alert, noting that although those types of cases haven’t increased, “the practice is perceived in the atmosphere.”

Latin American event

Subero spoke after inaugurating the XXIV Encounter of the Latin American Committee of Registry Consultation, being held in the hotel Embajador until Friday, with representatives attending from Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Haiti, Mexico, Panama and Paraguay.

We'll half the politics in the D.R. government have numerous homes and apartments all over D.R. on private beaches, Juan Dolio and million dollar villas in Casa De Campos so do the math. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to fugure out how for instance, "a police chief had a million dollar penthouse with a police salary in a 3rd world country" DUHHHHHH

The Judges are the first corrupted in the Dominican Republic. The 90 % per cent of the Real Estate, is coming from laudering money from drugs. This is in thier D.N.A.
The only way to changed is to bring a new generation of infants, and educated them to create other nation.
Nothing can be done.Everybody is corrupt, in one way or another.
