Santo Domingo. – A National District court yesterday refused to allow testimony by Leavy Yadira Nin Batista, ex wife of the murder convict Jose Figueroa Agosto, as “new evidence” in the case against the defendants of the Puerto Rican’s criminal network.

First Collegiate Court judges Gissel Méndez, Yuly Tamariz and Tania Yúnez ruled that testimony from a person who was prosecuted and convicted for the same crimes attributed to the others implicated in the case is inadmissible.

The judges also scheduled the next hearing for June 1, when the owner of a luxury car dealership, Miguel Martinez, will take the witness stand.

That's what happens when you appoint 28 year old judges with next to no field experience, and a little-bo-peep diploma from la Escuela de la Judicatura.

That should be quashed on appeal, provided the judges don't come from the same place and didn't get the same propina.

Satan's testimony is admissible, if you can get to serve the subpoena.
