BARAHONA, Dominican Republic.- Two brothers, 12 and 15, together with a 18 year old, confessed to the revenge killings of three Haitians with machetes on Monday in a hill of the western town Galván, near the Haitian border.
South Region Police spokesman Jose de los Saints Perez said the three were arrested on the hill Majagual. The adult was identified as Meilin Vásquez, whereas Ramon Feliz is the father of the minors, who allegedly admitted taking part in the murder of Heriberto Petito 30, Tigat Senaza, 20 and Yoel Pie, on Monday.
The alleged killers said they avenged the death of the Dominican Alejandro Sanchez Escalante, reportedly killed by a Haitian in a holdup.
Under interrogation, all three detainees said they were spurred on by people of the community.

That's pathetic! How can you randomly kill someone for revenge purposes? How can you randomly select anyone and take his/her life when they have done nothing to you? I will go so far as to say that we are truly all animals, human animals. The center core idea is that we have evolved or should have evolved socially. We have rules and laws. We have people that investigate crime and people in government that apply the law when a crime is committed. You cannot take the law into your own hands. If you are going to act, at least get rid of your ignorance about the truth of the matter. Killing innocent people is ignorance. The death penalty, from a legal standpoint, is very tricky. I can understand its validity in some cases, but it is a very tricky situation because too many people have been "administered the death penalty" when they were innocent. These three young murderers will have plenty of time to think about what they have done. They need to RELAX, and they will.

I stated the act of retribution was especially wrong for #1 attacking innocent victims who had nothing to do with the original crime, #2 involving minors in the retribution.
Stating that incidents like this will be repeated is not condoning the actions it is merely stating a fact of nature. The Norwegian rat experiment proved in a microcasm what will happen when there is an overflow of population in a finite amount of space, ie Haitians adding 1.5 million more people(especially illegal) in such a short time to a small country like DR.
And speaking of victims what about some sympathy for the poor Dominican farmer robbed and killed for a few "chelitos" by an illegal who wasn't even suppose to be in the country? Obviously this incident would not have occurred 15-20 yrs ago when there were only half a million Haitians who were employed mostly in the sugar cane fields and tourist area. Most were hardworking honest people who did not rob rape or murder their Dominican neighbors.
Now you have a massive influx of refugees who by sheer numbers must contain a certain percentage of lowlifes with no respect or fear of God, who do not value life or respect governmental authorities.
Add to this the impotence of the DR government to round up the illegals in the face of international pressure and yes you will get a mob mentality as shown by this incident and the mass roundup and expulsion by Dominican neighbors in the barrios of Santiago. Call it vigilante justice if you want or revolution or vendettas. In Florida there's currently a murder case where another mother stands accused of killing her 2 year old daughter then dumping her body "the Anthony case" her daughter interfered with her new found party life.
These 2 cases have so much in common "LIFE'S NOTHING BUT A PARTY".
A lack of regard for human life can be produced in most societies on this planet
It is raising children without love of neighbor combined with a lack of fear of God
There are several cities in these "enlightened" United States where children of that age would just as soon look at you as shoot you or "put a cap in your ass".
At least these boys had the conscious to turn themselves in. This was a failure of their parents.
Stop looking for an excuse to insult Dominican society. This is the first time I hear of something like this. Why don't you question the upbringing of the murderous thief who started the killing?
based on the doodoo written on this site I can see it happening.
What the fk are u talking about...murder, rape, robbery and witchcraft are part of their culture. I was confused to which "nationality you were referring to.
Stick with discussing criminals and leave culture alone. You don't want to go there. I'm very respectful on this forum but when you label a whole nationality, some of the sh*t can get on you too.
They speak a different language, they have a different religion, they are a different race, their culture is about as different as can be from my Dominican culture.
When these Haitian nationals come here ILLEGALLY and behave the way they behave in their natural habitat, we're going to have problems.
Rape is rampant in Haiti.

Haiti has sky-high crime and murder rates.

If Haitians don't want to have problems with the Dominican People, then they can learn to respect our laws and culture, or just stay out of our country.
This is our country, we don't need your Marxist American multiculturalism here.
You're an embarrasement to your people. You're IQ level must be in the negative. People like you use up resources like air and water when you could do the world a favor.
I thought there was only one race. Except in your small mind.
Rape rampant in Haiti. 1mil displaced living in tents no security what do you think will happen? Those men should be exposed and put on TV then shot my opinion.
The world can see how those young kids can hack 3 people to death by your dribble.
Your economy is over, there's no turning back now.
You have no business speaking on my country's matters.
Look at your own problems before you look at ours.
America has the highest violent crime, rape, murder and disease rates in the entire Western world.
Most of this is thanks to your drunken murderer-politician Ted Kennedy and his fantasies of a multicultural wonderland.

The United States is a broken nation, because your government does not care about its people, only its global aspirations.
All that war has left your nation a shell of what it once was.
Just as the Soviet Union fell, so shall your nation fall.
And then you will see what all that multiculturalism your government has been shoving down people's throats for all those years will get you when your nation turns into the
I'll stay out of this one with a......no comment.
I also live in NJ. What part of the state are you in. This is a small state.
Care to break bread sometime? I am a member of a DR political party here.
Maybe some rational personal discourse and ideas can filter up to the policymakers in both our nations. Both have new gov'ts coming into power. There has to be cooperation at all levels if we are too resolve our mutual problems. Que vous dire?
Espada must be in a white padded room talking politics to extra-terrestrials.
US isn't going anywhere just like the Soviet isn't going anywhere. Why? GUNS!!!
MAn with the biggest gun writes the rules.
Follow the f-ing thread. You're all over the place. If your point is illegals contribute to the country's problems, fine.
But when you speak dribble about criminal characteristics embedded in Haitian culture, I don't know if you realize that people are laughing at you at best, and at worst...embarrassed by your ignorance.
I have a lot of respect for a few posters on this forum that I will quit while I'm ahead.
dreadlock,
I reiterate,” “unfortunately”, the poor Dominicans have to send the message this way”!
It’s unfortunate for the poor Dominicans for when their love are lynched by the Haitians, the killer Haitians never get caught by the Dominican authorities or turned I n by they compatriots.
Now Mr. Dread where is the fairness at this point????? And you ALWAYS intentionally overlook who started the killing. Now our poor men go to jail for something a freaking Haitian killer started and who will never be brought to justice for he/they flew back to Haiti where the Haitian government and the rest will be glad a Dominican got killed.
Dread,
Make no mistake, Haitians kill Dominicans out hate, yes, it’s a hate crime.
If a Dominican kill someone in NY, you bet is a criminal act, not hate crime.
All I can say, Haitians don’t learn. If your compatriots kill a Dominican you better turn him in. Simple, “do not kill a Dominican”
That is the message our poor men are sending, otherwise justice will not be served.
If a Dominican kill someone in NY, you bet is a criminal act, not hate crime.
to assume that all killings of Dominicans by Haitians is motivated by hate is so utterly stupid, i will not even dignify it with a response.
dreadlocks, dreadlocks,dreadlocks..A man of your intellect should not be scare of the pathetic stupid things (according to you) a humble person like me says.
I'm not assuming all killings of Dominicans by Haitians are motivated by hate, I'm certain.
So stop the pretension it does not fit you.
Save the dignity for you because you are apathetic when a Dominican is killed by a Haitian, but very disturbed when the Dominicans retaliate.
Yes, Dominicans retaliate, and you can not blame them.
How much hate does it take to kill / murder ?
I say......arrest these 3, charge them, sentence them and let justice be served.
knupe is that all you got? You always resort to name calling when out of argumentative facts and ideas, but again that is your "only calling" at this site.
BUT YOU DREAD? Is old age robbing you eloquence and creativity? And yes, you better say nothing for I'm right and true on my predictions and statements.
Why is it that every time when Haitians commit this type crime the Haitians never, never, gets caught???
What a disgrace! Our police find the time to look for the Dominicans involved in the retaliation but the police do not find the time to arrest the families and friends of the Haitian murderers who started this Calamity.
The rest of the countdry must learn from the Cibaenos.
You are losing it. You and I haven't had any exchange in 3 yrs (except for a PM where we cordially settled a matter). I have always behaved on this site.
You pointing the finger at name-calling is laughable and cute...you talk a lot of crap here and disparage people all the time.
My feelings aren't hurt...LOL!
P.S....I wasn't making any arguments, just simply asked if young boys murdering people bother you. From what you have read from me, there's no way you can come to the conclusion that I endorse Haitians killing Dominicans...especially in their country.
Heck, I've know Dominicans who have killed Dominicans in NYC. My friend is buried in San Francisco; Victim of the 90s street wars.
Having growing up in L.A myself I know what you mean, there is more hate among Latinos then there is hate against other people of color.
In this murder case I would say hate is a motivating factor with this crime. The idea that a mob mentality also played a part does not surprise me, if people were afraid to even attempted to stop it they should of just walked away.
Regardless justice must be served.
