Santo Domingo.- The head of the government agency that promotes the hotel industry (CORPOHOTEL) threatened to take the journalists Marino Zapete and Alicia Ortega to court and railed Economy minister Temístocles Montas for talking “babble.”
Bienvenido Perez’s reaction comes in the wake of the scandal revealed by the investigative journalists, in the distribution of State-owned Ercilia Pepín mountain lodges in Jarabacoa, among leaders of the ruling PLD party, officials, journalists and colleagues.
He criticized Montas’ assertion that he would proposed that president Leonel Fernandez rescind the transactions.
Perez, interviewed last Wednesday on Teleunión, Santiago, accused Ortega and Zapete of slander and of acting with bad faith. “There are people here who must be put in their place. They face being sued by us, because they cannot be destroying anybody reputation.”
“That’s Temístocles Montas talking babble, look at the President’s decree; that’s not done by crazies,” Perez said about the Economy Minister’s statement, and denied any wrongdoing. “Everything that was done at the subdivision Ercilia Pepín has been transparent and public.”

so give us the decree number and let us be the judge.....who is crazy and who is not!!!!!!
