Santiago, DR.– A Spanish citizen
died Thursday in a drive-by shooting in this northern Dominican city while exercising
with his dog in the Eduardo Leon Jimenes Park,
police said.
According to the report, Pablo Garcia Fanjul, 53, was shot several times. Police discounted robbery as a motive, noting that the shooters fired from a moving vehicle and quickly sped away.
Park
regulars told authorities they often saw Fanjul out with his dog.
Investigators have begun to interview witnesses, but have yet to make
any arrest. They believe the killing is a “settling of accounts” linked to drug trafficking.
Pablo Garcia Fanjul was brought to justice by the Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) in February 2002 for possession of 6 kilos of cocaine and had been deported to his country in 2004.

This was a well thought out, planned, premeditated murder. There is no doubt about it. The problem is that next time it could be you, your brother or sister, or your child. So, we cannot be thankful about idiots spraying people with bullets. Whoever killed this man, they should be brought to justice. "THEY" should be brought to justice. :)

"The problem is that next time it could be you, your brother/sister, or your child. So, we cannot be thankful about idiots spraying people with bullets."
Unless i missed something, i thought the report for this story said that this guy was a convicted drug dealer from 2002? This is not a random murder. So, why would your brother or sister be targeted? By whom, and for what reason? Crime is almost always through association. People are not just driving down the street randomly looking for someone to kill.
So again, i stick by the statement: The DR is a safe country. At no time in 47 years have i had a friend or relative killed. nor have i had a friend or associate killed. nor do i know anyone persoanlly who has been killed. And i work in a bar on the north coast!
It just perplexes me that someone can take a "Hit for Hire" murder and then apply it to everyone in the whole country.

What sort of dog was he walking? A loveable pet or a Pit-bull, Rottweiler, Alsatian or some other killer dog?

Maybe he was not paying his drug taxes to Wall Street or the police. The Government introduced drugs in the sixties to destroy the then young generation. YES THEY DID.The CIA spent a fortune on research and did terrible things to innocents with LSD.Then there was the obsession with mushrooms and fungi and nasty things done to kids at Cornell (NY) Ivy League University in the 60s.I often wonder why my dad fled his research position there so quickly as one of the top mycologists in the world to return to England when I was little, for no new job. Of course he will never tell me.

You mean I am? I have no mood disorders and certificate to prove it. Why would I be a sociopath when they lack empathy and kill with no feeling. I hate genocide,(Haiti) racism( the DR incited to hate Haitian who are suppressed by the elite) and I sure hate Governments secretly drugging the young and making black ops money from cocaine (never seen it myself or want to). I have met and spoken to many people, friend ,from various places and they confirm my claims and I aint afraid to say them and you cannot outdo me with crap like "take your meds".

History of 3 drugs:
1.) Documented instances of cannabis use go back as far as the 3rd millennium BC.
2.) Cultivation of opium poppies for food, anaesthesia, and ritual purposes dates back to at least the Neolithic Age (new stone age). The Sumerian, Assyrian, Egyptian, Indian, Minoan, Greek, Roman, Persian and Arab Empires each made widespread use of opium, which was the most potent form of pain relief then available, allowing ancient surgeons to perform prolonged surgical procedures. Opium is mentioned in the most important medical texts of the ancient world, including the Ebers Papyrus and the writings of Dioscorides, Galen, and Avicenna. Widespread medical use of unprocessed opium continued through the American Civil War before giving way to morphine and its successors, which could be injected at a precisely controlled dosage.
3.)From 1898 through to 1910 diacetylmorphine was marketed under the trademark name Heroin as a non-addictive morphine substitute and cough suppressant.

Gisellwilding,
1.)LSD was first synthesized by Albert Hofmann in 1938 from ergotamine, a chemical derived by Arthur Stoll from ergot, a grain fungus that typically grows on rye.
2.) Introduced by Sandoz Laboratories, with trade-name Delysid, as a drug with various psychiatric uses in 1947, LSD quickly became a therapeutic agent that appeared to show great promise. In the 1950s the CIA thought it might be applicable to mind control and chemical warfare; the agency's MKULTRA research program propagated the drug among young servicemen and students. The subsequent recreational use of the drug by youth culture in the Western world during the 1960s led to a political firestorm that resulted in its prohibition.Currently, a number of organizations—including the Beckley Foundation, MAPS, Heffter Research Institute and the Albert Hofmann Foundation—exist to fund, encourage and coordinate research into the medicinal and spiritual uses of LSD and related psychedelics.

You have a certificate that states you do not have a mood disorder?
How about a document that exonerates you from psychotic thoughts?
Socially linked to those who have been murdered? As they say, "LOL".
