Santo Domingo.- United States citizen Blazej J. Wasilewski, 25, wanted for robbing a bank in suburban Chicago was deported by Dominican authorities Wednesday.
The American was handed over to federal agent Lazaro Andino at the Las Americas International Airport, and escorted aboard a Cessna airplane to the United States via San Juan, Puerto Rico, and to Illinois from there.
Wasilewski was arrested upon landing Monday at Punta Cana International Airport (east) with 39,765 dollars, part the money allegedly stolen from the bank in Chicago, where he was an assistant manager.
