Santo Domingo.- Police chief Jose A. Polanco Monday announced the firing of two majors and a colonel placed on early retirement in connection with the case of the Drugs Control Agency lieutenant colonel Cesar Augusto Ubrí gunned down last week.
“They committed ethical fault in the handling of their functions,” Polanco said of major Ricky Lantigua Rosario, who assigned three weapons and other equipment to the accused gunman in the killing, corporal Wascar Cavallo Montero.
Also fired was Cavallo Montero’s father, major Wascar Antonio Cavallo Deñó, whereas colonel Manuel de Jesus Feliz Bello, Cavallo Montero’s commanding officer, was forced to retire.

If the victim's SUV was taken by the culprits, then the motive was clearly theft, not drug payback or revenge -Generosa 9/19/11
Could be, but the MO of professional killers is just to eliminate, not to hijack suv's that could then be traced back to the perps. - Generosa 9/19/11
So intelligent the comments that Generosa makes..........

When this crime occurred it was obvious that it was a drug related crime and that it was done intentional by the Domican authorities and made to look like it was a random crime a so called "Auto Theft" to fool people like Generosa who strongly supports the DNCD. So they drag a couple people from the streets arrest them make them take the rap and thats it case closed.....Oh yeah fire couple people :-)

The Central Electoral Board has detected more than 7,000 lawyers in the DR who are using forged IDs.
