Santo Domingo.- The Presidential Commission designated in Santiago to implement measures to deal with the spike in violent crimes in that province and nationwide met in National Police headquarters Tuesday, to follow up on the actions adopted at the start of this month.

Among the measures considered are the installation of security cameras in some strategic zones, stricter Police controls and vigilance, more patrols in Santiago’s main commercial arteries, barrios, strategic areas and other zones of the country.

The Commission includes Police chief Jose Polanco; Interior and Police minister Jose Ramon Fadul; Santiago prosecutor Yenni B. Reynoso; Executive Branch Antinarcotics adviser Marino Vinicio Castillo; monsignor Agripino Núñez Collado’ National Drugs Council director Mabel Feliz and Deputy justice minister Arístides Madera.

The meeting was held as all social sectors demand tough actions against crime, and in the wake of the gangland murders of four South Americans and the killing of a woman taxi driver, among other bloody occurrences in Santiago.

Police spokesman Maximo Báez Aybar the meeting guarantees compliance with the measures instructed by president Leonel Fernandez, so that the country, especially Santiago, feel properly protected.

And the beat goes on. These morons do not have the collective mentality of a 10 year old.

Try this "stop the transparent corruption, do your job and demand judicial reform"

many avoid the truth because it scares us, or makes us angery, or makes us fell like we don't know what to do. most of us have had the experince of being in possession of a piece of truth that we where afraid to share because we knew it would not be well recieved.
many on this site avoid the truth, fell that our whole sense of reality is being threatened.
it takes a strong person to the truth, but many of us run for cover.nevertheless, we can only avoid the truth for so long before it begings to make itself know in ever more forceful ways.
accept the truth no matter how painful it is , then adjust our lives to accommodate, and be in alignment with reality.
