Santo Domingo.- A Dominican suspect in a Licey, Santiago killing has been captured in Massachusetts, Boston.com reports.

It said authorities detained 41-year-old Fernando Antonio Burgos-Rojas outside of a Lawrence home on Tuesday where had apparently been living for at least a year. “Burgos-Rojas is accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend in December 2008.”

The alleged murderer appeared before a magistrate judge in federal court in Boston, who ordered him held pending extradition proceedings. It was not clear if he had a lawyer.

“The U.S. Marshals Service as well as the Essex County Sheriff's Department participated in the arrest,” the news source said.

Everytime I go to Lawrence to see my suegeros, I always think I should bring the wanted posters with me and see who I can find.
