Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. – For the first time since founded in 1966, the once-powerful right wing PRSC party will not have it’s own presidential candidacy, and instead will seek an alliance with other political organizations, most likely with the ruling PLD.

The National Political Commission made the decision in a meeting Sunday, in which PRSC president Carlos Morales was assigned “wide reaching powers to reach pacts and alliances with other political organizations, whether majority or not.”

The PRSC did not specify with which political party it will forge an alliance, but among its leaders it was “open secret” that it will be with PLD candidate Danilo Medina.

The PRSC’s demise began in 1996, year in which the then reformed Constitution prohibited its founder Joaquin Balaguer from seeking a fourth term.

Esos reformistas si son blanditos como dice mi Papa,no han tenido la capacidad para sacar ese partido a flote y se han quedado apoyando partidos como plato de segunda mesa.

From: Dominican Republic, I dislike all politicians and their afiliated parties... "I simply say it AS IT IS!!"
That's a good sign to realize how messed these so called Dominican ppl are?

It is said, Balaguer was not even Dominican. Once a bright mind dawned - the whole party went down the pipes. It's unbelievable to see someone like the pig giver as opposed to such an intellectual sparkling gifted mind that of Mr. Balaguer.

I must imagine he is crying black tears seeing all the low level vermins eating each other alive where once there was fluency.

Pittyful the mind who's bearer is a hybrid Dominican.

El partido a perdido la capacidad de ser claro, no se sabe a que se opone o a que apoya ni se siente que hay un líder capaz de inspirar como lo hacia Balaguer.

Who the hell wants to be associated with a party, once headed by a fascist/MacArthyite, FBI informer? :-) http://www.acento.com.do/index.ph....invasion-de-1965-segun-libro.html
