Santo Domingo East.- Dominican Republic’s only Cardinal today called those who approve of same sex marriage “hustlers,” who consider that attitude as something normal.
Nicolas de Jesus Lopez Rodriguez said, “it’s not the same. It’s a lie. They are hustlers.”
In an energetic tone, the prelate railed those who favor legalizing gay marriages, affirming that same sex couples have the right to establish formal relations is not true and criticized the lawmakers who’ve voted for that type of relation.
Lopez Rodriguez, speaking during the inaugural of the Youth and Family Integral Training Center (CEFIJUFA) on the Samaná highway, rebuked those congresses which have approved those unions with the category of marriage.

It's all about human right... everyone should have the same rights to get married. marriage is suppose to be about love, not religion. The intolerance of the cardinal is not surprising, b/c catholicism and evangelical churches may preach love, but they are ready to damn you to hell if you don't adhere to their dogmas and traditions. The words dogmas and traditions are carefully chosen!
According to christian teachings, God gave women and men free-will in order for them to voluntarily chose "right" from "wrong." If that's the case, why do people like the cardinal try to impose their version of "right" on people? where's the free-will?
I accuse people like the cardinal of inconsistent morals and hypocrisy in order to justify a value-laden and partial vision of reality. They then use their privileged position, and monopoly over means of communication, to portray their partial views as "normal" and "legitimate."

What people do in the privacy of their home is their business. To legalize gay marriage is forcing society to make it the public's business. NO on public gay marriages and NO to turning our couples (normal meaning) and family oriented tourism into a decadent and deviant homosexual destination. Wasn't Haiti such a destination and wound up wth the largest percentage of aids in the hemisphere? Aids hasn't been cured. It is still prevalent in needle using drug addicts, homosexuals and because of their complacent attitudes towards homosexuals, many Haitians. We would lose tourist from many countries in favor of the International Happy Hoardes. That would make me give up my nationality.

26-For this cause God gave them (meaning us, again) up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27-And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly ( may I add "unseemingly DISGUSTING?), and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

However many Christians are unaware of the fact the Bible was compiled from a collection of anonymous documents by the Catholic Church at the Council of Nicea in 325, to suit the purposes of the church, and the empire. It has worked incredibly very well for the church. Not so well for the empire.

With Jesus on their side, why should the Vatican seek recourse in the courts - have they no faith in His power and justice? Yet they tell us to trust in Jesus and pray to his virgin mother and everything will be okay.
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"

To gay sympathizers keep your deviant practices to yourself and we won't have any problems. This abnormality ( it is nothing but) is between you and God. I don't need to know about it.
25-Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
It is all about Biblical scripture, since that is the authority the Christian churches rely on.
However many Christians are unaware of the fact the Bible was compiled from a collection of anonymous documents by the Catholic Church at the Council of Nicea in 325, to suit the purposes of the church, and the empire. It has worked incredibly very well for the church. Not so well for the empire.
We can argue about morality and religion, however historic fact is just that. You can speculate as to what was in the mind of the dozens of anonymous authors of the documents that comprise the Holy Bible, but how it was compiled is not debatable. It is historic fact.
If you want to know what happens after death, look at some dead things.
By the way, some of us chose not to be buried. Donating one's body to science saves on funeral expenses for your descendants, and may just be useful.
Why should gays be exempt from institutionalization?
