Santo Domingo.– Dominican Antinarcotics (DNCD) agents assigned to the Las Americas Airport International on Sunday arrested a young man carrying 74 bags full of cocaine inside his sneakers.

According to the report, Anthony Mejia Mars, 19, was trying to board a flight to  Madrid, Spain.

How is it posible that we continuously hear of people making this stupid attempts? Or is it that these attempts are more likely than not accomplised?

this is a story i do not believe..every one knows all shoes are x rayed seperately ..but maybe he had his sneakers in his luggage with the cocaine and not on his feet

Yet --- Two U.S. Border Patrol agents stationed in Yuma were arrested Thursday and charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine and cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Border Patrol Agent Ivhan Herrera Chiang, 29, and state corrections Officer Michael Lopez Garcia, 28, were caught red-handed smuggling drugs into the U.S.

The Ops ran from September 2010 to January 2012.

I am not as smart as you, so maybe you can explain to me, why, if the American government is the biggest drug smuggler in the Caribbean, they would they keep arresting, charging and convicting their own smugglers? Just to fool us? The most powerful nation in the world can do what it wants, it doesn't need to fool anyone, especially insignificant, Caribbean, banana-republics.
