Santo Domingo.- Most of the weapons are smuggled into the country by air and sea and not across the border as widely believed, Interior and Police minister Jose Ramon Fadul affirmed Tuesday, who stated his concern and said Haiti cannot be blamed for everything.
“Haiti is not the only one way guns enter, the number which enters that way is the minimum. Haiti cannot be blamed for everything.”
When asked why so many criminals are better armed than the authorities, the official said that’s not the case, “because State security agencies even have military tanks.”
Fadul, speaking in the Ciudad Nueva courthouse, revealed that the number of weapons smuggled by land is the minimum, but didn’t provide details of the gun-running business.

Allow law abiding citizens to protect themselves and get rid of the fascist gun control laws and then the problem will just go away.
and, Don Bla Bla Bla, might you tell us about the fascist gun control laws in the DR? before going that far, can you tell us what a fascist gun control law is? how does it different from a capitalist gun control law? i would have thought that Santa might have brought you some brains for Christmas. apparently, all he brought was your usual set of crayons.
The reality is, murder rates in countries with gun-control laws restricting access to their citizens (like Australia) have far, far lower murder rates than in countries that don't (like USA).
Wouldn't think of leaving home without it.
