Santo Domingo. - President Danilo Medina on Monday designated Police General Juan Geronimo Brown as head of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (AMET), replacing Major General Jose Anibal Sanz.

Prior to the current post, Brown was South Central Region Police Director based in Peravia Province.

The decision in Decree 610-12 signed by Medina doesn’t assign new functions for the Sanz Jiminián.

Yesterday here in Bavaro must have been a national holiday...."Dominican Idiots Behind the Wheel Day".

Time for AMET to stop loitering on street corners during the day and stop some of these self entitled idiots...most of whom are driving SUVs more expensive than the average Dominican home...nuff said.
