Wow, I have seen that look before in Jamaica (the guy on the left). Drunk Tourists! Too many rum punches at the midnight reggae jams beach party and the guys who pass out on the sand all wake up with the same face. The morning sunshine burning on their foreheads usually wakes them up. They stagger back to their hotel rooms a little lighter - no wallet, no watch, no ring.

Democratic Republic of Congo offered help to Haitians
Senegal offered free land to any Haitians who wanted to "return" to Africa.
On 1/17/2010, Senegal's President Abdoulaye Wade said he was offering free land to any Haitians who wanted to "return" to Africa.
"The president was offering voluntary repatriation to all Haitians that wanted to return to their origin," said Mr Wade's spokesman, Mamadou Bemba Ndiaye.
Responding to the Senegalese offer, Mr Mende said the government wouldn't certainly reject any Haitians if they wanted to move to DR Congo.
Some Congolese had criticised the offer. After years of conflict, which is still raging in the east, millions of people live in poverty.
On the other hand,Haitian citizens rejected the offer and showed no interest on returning to their land of origin.

Black American on Haitian Hate? Teacher Suspended for Calling Student ‘Chocolate Nobody Wanted’
March 7, 2012.
Leslie Ranier, a 46 year old South Florida reading teacher, has been suspended for ten days without pay after being accused of making racial slurs against a black child in her class. The catch here is that Ranier herself is black, and the Superintendent has found that the remarks she made to the student were a form of discrimination against him as a Haitian-American.
From: Haiti
The Superintendent, Robert Runcie, says that Ranier’s recent remarks are part of a larger pattern of her ”inappropriate conduct towards her part-Haitian, minority descent students,” and that she had ”made a statement to a student that, ‘I wish they would put you in a boat and send you back where you came from.’…and also] told a student to stand in the corner near a garbage can because ‘that’s where he belongs.” In spite of having been counseled on this matter Ranier was caught doing it again, this time caught on video.

How Haiti Changed my Thinking about Race and Politics.
I lived in Haiti during its most recent presidential election, the first since an earthquake leveled most of Port-au-Prince, killing hundreds of thousands.
In Haiti there is a massive divide between rich and poor. But there are also racial factors influencing both this economic reality and the political process. The elite, who control 95% of the nation’s wealth, are generally mulatto or of mixed European-African decent, while the poor and destitute, who have next to nothing, are usually darker skinned. Few dispute the fact that the privileged minority in Haiti, those who believe themselves superior at least in part because of their lighter skin, manipulate elections to benefit themselves, keeping the vast majority of Haitians in dire poverty and advancing their own economic interests.

Hatik; You have some kind of low self esteem problem. This is why you space out all of your masturbatory posts, taking such long screen space with just about no content whatsoever. Why do you think a public forum should take the place of the intense professional therapy that you are lacking?

This racial divide in Haiti,is a love-hate relationship amongst Haitians.
Darker skinned Haitians either hate or mostly look up to lighter skinned Haitians.I also had the opportunity to learn about a racial slur,as shocking as it may sound, used amongst darker skinned Haitians: "kakadyab" meaning "devil sh*t.

Most Africans brought to Haiti were of the Yoruba people in Benin. However, this is due to the Dahomey kingdom conquered territories; which were assimilated through intermarriage, uniform laws, and a common tradition of enmity to the Yoruba. The non-Yoruba Africans came from the Kongo and Angola, with most coming from the region in which the Kongo people resided. Be mindful that the Kongo and Angola people were also intermingle with the Yoruba people. In other words the Yoruba people were all over the west part of Africa. If anything, they were considered to be the largest group of people in the west parts of Africa.

Haiti: Five Family Members of Activist Leader Murdered
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti-Five family members of Réginald Antoine were murdered on the morning of Tuesday morning. Antoine and Charles Fritz-Gérald were leaders of an organization of former state employees that have been pressuring the Martelly administration for financial compensation.
According to witnesses, several people attacked the home where Réginald Antoine grew up. The murderers used guns and a hand grenade in the attack. Antoine's brother, sister, brother-in-law and two children were killed.
Réginald Antoine was one of signators, along with Noam Chomsky and many other public persons, that signed an open letter that was published in the UK Guardian on March 2, 2011 calling on the U.S., Canada and other foreign powers to stop interfering in Haiti's political affairs.
