Santo Domingo.- Public Works minister Gonzalo Castillo yesterday promised to fix the potholes scarring Greater Santo Domingo’s main streets, in coordination with the metro area’s four mayors.
He called the paving program "Christmas without holes," for the municipalities’ citizens to "enjoy a Christmas season in the best possible conditions in terms of road communication."
The agreement between Public Works and the mayors seeks to ensure the maintenance, landscaping and cleanup of the streets and overpasses, and improve lighting in the city’s various entrances, starting with the Duarte highway, and then Las Americas, San Cristobal and Sanchez highways.

They fix the holes on la charles once a year but when i rains the street gets flooded. Someone needs to tell Gonzalo Castillo to fix the drain problem first, then fix the holes with better products, because obvious he don't know.

one needs to know this fact though about my comment. one needs to understand the dr has no money for education for the young, we also do not have much elec. . so the poor dominicans spend 1/2 their lives living in the dark and being stupid for the rest of their lives..
u also need to know that we need to help our folks in the local governments who like to live in high fashion they need big cars and suv's, big beautiful homes and expensive clothes and the best food.
most of the government guys have 12-15y olds as girlfriends, u need to understand they cant function with a real women so they date and have sex with theses babies. this way they can take them to mcdonalds and it only cost a few pesos.
