There are actually European countries out there that do still need a visa to go to DR like Romania, Kosovo and Serbia among a few others. Czech Republic though have not needed visas since a little after it broke away from Czechoslovakia

because they would not last a week in another country. i was in a bar once, and this German guy struts in. everybody gets out of his way. i ask this Dominican who the heck is this guy, and why are all these people so afraid of him. he tells me "that is Deiter. he is a really tough guy, and people know better than to mess with him". i told him that Deiter would last , maybe, 3 days in Jamaica, before some area Don cleaned an old rusty Glock in his face.. they come here because Dominicans allow them to do whatever they wish, at all levels.

As I understand it Interpol had been on the track of these people for quite a time and were simply wanting to catch as many in the net as possible .
The reason that these people end up here is that these type of people know that the checks are minimal and that they can pay off people and remain safe most of the time. Several months ago I saw with my own eyes a man from Haiti paying money over to a policeman so he would not be arrested and deported ,,he had an expired visa ,,so I guess the rich criminals can do it more easily ..we live in a corrupt society

Even though some of you sound as if you have actually traveled, you should acquaint yourself with the European Union. Membership changes visa requirements for many countries.

The Czech Republic is a member of the European Union (EU), so most tourists do not require a visa to visit Prague, just a valid passport (or ID card for EU citizens). And vice versa. Therefore, because they are free to travel to any of the 27 countries in the EU, I bet there is always one just a tid bit more lenient then the other. Believe me they found a loop hole and took advantage of it, got on a plane to a country with beautiful wheather and thought they were home free. It is just that simple.
