This evolving story is sort of difficult to believe.

Perhaps I am being a bit naive here, but since when did the Dominican miliatry gain the testicular fortitude and character to infiltrate the dreaded cartels? DR military involvement in the drug traffic is an accepted fact, which makes this more difficult to accept.

I guess, if it's true that Leyba Perez was infiltrated to this organization, then he was made to walk the plank, so to speak. He and several others probably realized he wasn't coming back with the money, as I suspect that his activities were likely known by high operatives of the cartels.

Captain Leyba Perez, RIP.

Yes, these people make money by merchandizing an illegal substance. Yes, most are murderers, but most of the hits are within the underworld. Yes, "Drugs" are taboo in society. But, But, most of the income made stays in the dominican republic which helps stimulate the economy and in turn provides employment to the population.

Danilo, be careful not to pull a Vicente Fox, by trying to be mr.good samaritan and taking out a well known (by the government) and structure drug world. Look how that turn out in Mexico.

Sometimes and just Sometimes, Evil is good.

Gomez Díaz as in Gomez Díaz?

Is this guy family of the Los MIna furniture store owner turned media mogul because LF believed in him? And also needed a media coverage never seen before in this country to implement his Chomsky-inspired electoral strategy?

Telemicro cost a lot of money. Where did it all come from?

Certainly not from home appliance sales in Los MIna.

At the same time I wish my countrymen could have the testular fortitude to seek some new immigration reform bills to pass into congress , to halt these druglord rats that come from south america and of coursed the neverending issue with the illegal haitians that cross the border.
