NEW YORK.-  A group of United States cadets of the Queens Military Academy will arrive in the Dominican Republic on Friday, when for the first time they’ll set off on the tour “Mission Eagle,” which will take them to different cities in the Caribbean country.

The American military youngsters, most of them Dominican and Hispanic, were bid farewell yesterday Tuesday by Dominican ambassador in the United Nations, Virgilio Alcantara and the Office of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The cadets were given American flags for them to take in the mission, headed by their commandant Alirio Orduña.

Normally, they gather intelligence and relay it to the State Dpt.

Now, there is no intelligence left to gather in this country, so it's gonna be Brugal, Bikini and Bachata.

They are AMERICANS not Domincans, this phrase:

"The American military youngsters, most of them Dominican and Hispanic..."

Is Ridiculous, specially ridiculous when we are metioning MILITARY personnel, if there was to be a conflict between DR and USA like past 3 times on previous century, TO WHOM will these persons serve? THAT IS MY POINT, if you are Military, YOU CAN NOT BE with GOD and the DEVIL at the same time...

i remember vividly the last time the Jamaican government invited a group of US military personnel to the island, for a short stint of R and R. one fateful night, they went to the island's most prestigious discotheque of the time, the Epiphany, and trashed the joint, breaking up potted plants, groping the waitresses, and threatening everybody with physical harm. the manager requested of them to tone the festivities down, whereupon one replied "look , boy, where i come from, we don't take orders from ni**ers. we string ni**ers up on trees". four of them were medivac transported back to hospitals in Panama. disco patrons beat them all to within an inch of their lives.

The article leads us to believe that these kids are part of the US military. They are not. They are students in a "military " school, big difference. They appear to be about High School age.

Seriously folks, lighten the f*ck up...these are young kids who very well may be the future leaders of DR...in which by the way things are going perhaps a new type of Trujillo would be in order to set things straight....besides, we were all young once!

Dready,
If you were "born a geriatric", when did you become terminally adolescent?
