Santo Domingo.- Central Electoral Board (JCE) president Roberto Rosario said he’s concerned with the use that could be given to the results of the May 20 elections, since the political parties will receive them simultaneously.

He said despite that he promoted the simultaneous transmission, his fear is that upon receive the results, the parties might declare a winner before the JCE’s official tally. “The Board Plenary approved the simultaneous transmission of the elections results to the servers of the political parties and to the media which could have the possibilities of receiving them from the technological standpoint, but I feel a little concern for that reason.”

Interviewed in the journalist Nuria Piera in her Sunday program, Rosario said that’s the element which concerns him, since the Board doesn’t control it either, and is the responsibility of those who control the servers. “That’s putting the cheese in the hand of the mouse, you do that and there’s no way to keep it from eating it.”

It you put information in the hands of a journalist and tell them not to divulge that information, you could have a problem,” he said.

Rosario is now scared that the press and the world at large will have the results before he and the Narco-PLD, of which he is a proud member, have a chance to manipulate the votes in their favor!

You set up the rules Mr.Rosario, now live by them!
