Santo Domingo. - The National Meteorology Office forecasts heavy showers in the Northwest, Atlantic Coast, Cibao Valley, Central Mountains and Border Zone, from a frontal system approaching from the east.

It said there’ll be partially cloudy skies for most of the country Monday morning, and overcast in the Northwest.

Meteorology said the rains will continue into Tuesday night and Wednesday morning in the central parts of the country, where the south wind will cause temperatures to rise as high as 34 degrees Celsius.
