Santo Domingo.- The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) on Monday said it arrested and deported Canadian drug trafficker Oliver A. Willis, to face at least 22 counts of cocaine and weapons charges in Quebec.
It said agents detained Willis upon leaving Najayo jail, where he was being held since February 2010, when he was arrested on possession of 71 kilos of cocaine, together with David George Daniel, Giuseppe Mauro and the Dominican Wendy Magdalena Abreu, in the condo Torre G -31, in the Piantini sector.
DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebrón said Willis was escorted out of the country last night aboard a commercial flight from the Las Americas Airport.
