Santo Domingo.- The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) arrested two brothers wanted in the United States on at least by at least 12 drug trafficking charges together with other Dominicans for allegedly distributing heroin, cocaine and methamphetamines in New York and adjacent cities.
Moca natives Argely and Kelvins Breton were arrested in the Espaillat province community Monte la Jagua, on a Supreme Court warrant issued October, 2011.
The DNCD calls them key members of a network which operated from October 2007 to January 2001 in East New York and nearby zones, together with Ricardo Almonte, Jose Cruz (El Socio) and Jeremy Garcia (El Gordo and/or JJ)
The extraditables, also known as ‘EL Artista' and `El Perrero' were allegedly associated with Emilio Lara (El Disparate), and Enmanuel Polanco (Manuel) in the distribution of various amounts of drugs until their arrest by the federal authorities, while the others managed to escape.

THINK ..as Dominicans comprise the most prisoners in NY prisons , as a percentage of the number of people from individual countries living in NY , it seems that there is a very large number of Dominicans who are in the USA simply to commit crimes.The big difference is that they are caught in NY and ca nnot buy their way out ..I have only met 6 or 7 ex prisoners sent back to the DR and they are scum of the highest order ..We really need an island prison to house these people .

like yesterday the government gave out some numbers about the tourists business which they said there in the plus side for the dr.
if in fact they numbers where correct good for the dr.
the tourists people in the states put out numbers that are real
the numbers are that this year over one and 1/2 billion people will travel {world wide}this year. man thats a lot of tourists, so the dr should have some kind of increase as most other countries also have. if they did not they would be in real trouble. but this gang gets carried away and starts waving flags, let me tell u my thoughts, the dr gets a very small share of the tourists business, {they could get more if they did not treat tourists and investors like prey, and clean up the country. {start with the streets and the rivers}

Every time I go back to the DR I meet some new returnees..... I'll be hanging out with my wife and her family en el campo or we will be down at the beach then... Hey doggg you speak good english.. you're American.... In the past I responded yes.... Now, I say that I'm from Canada or that I grew up in Alaska.... Why ... b/c if you're american from the east/west coast they target you!! Ahhh my brotha... I just got back from NY... which means he just was deported... and I just need a little money.... I'll wash your rental car!! I was down at Rio San Juan visiting friends and I swear I was approahed by 6 different returnees in one day..... I won't go there anymore!!!!!!!!!

I cannot even think of what the real % of our GDP and the % of money in circulation because of the drug trade. If that source of income ever stopped we would have big problems here.

Hateitor... What you just described it is like every second that I spend outside of a residence inn the DR. Apparently locals presume that Americans are far superior, smarter, richer, more capable then Dominicans. Or Dominicans are just whiny babies and Americans have to diaper and feed them. When it comes to tourist money, return visits are very important. Other caribbean locales are considered less predatory, safer, and cleaner.
