Santiago.- A leader of the opposition PRD party who now heads the political movement “PRD members with Danilo” to support the ruling party candidate denounced that he and his relatives are getting death threats from the prominent PRD leader Jose Rafael Fermín “El Loco Fermín” and Victor Méndez, PRD presidential candidate Hipólito Mejia’s campaign chief in Santiago.
Héctor Domínguez (Papín) said Fermín and Méndez would be responsible if anything happens to him or his family.
He said as his wife Sandra and their daughters were leaving a TV program on Tuesday, they were pursued by Fermín in a SUV. “Once they realized they were being pursued they drove away from the area to avoid the worse.”
Dominguez added that Fermín operates on Méndez’s orders, and described the ex Mayor of Santiago as a “mobster.” Victor Mendez is a coward who cuts and runs every time the PRD faces a loss. He’s a mobster in Santiago who sends his thugs to the streets while he hides.”

Hello Josean, what do you have to say about this? I don't many PLD party members crossing over to the PRD. A large number of Vargas supporters will be voting for the PLD and some of them would not even vote because they feel like have been betrayed.

I don't wast my time reading Liberal news papers article. I am a conservative and there for do not waste my time on that. I what the 5 major talk shows in the local chanals in the morning such as the ones on Chanal 5, 7, 9,11 and 13. And read listing diario report which is is a news papers that the owners support Hipolito starting with Pepin Corripio and all of those shows and news papers are showing what the people ae saying. So in other words you are telling me that after all the major polls are giving Danilo a secured win on May including Gallup Mejia is going to win.

The reason why Mejia has some support from the young is that they were not aroundas voters when he almost sent the DR bankrupt and they do not know that he did absolutely nothing for the DR and Vargas is far from bankrupt ..how can a politician be bankrupt except in ideas .

he is a lawyer who ran for sindico in the prd primary, i know him well , he is a good dad a good lawyer but a bad politician. He took advice from Guillermo Cabrera . Cabrea older brother was mayor back in the balaguer days. His brother Ramon was Hippos man for freezone in santiago. Guillermo got 2 brand new chinses brand SUVs and $40k in cash to switch to PLD from PRD in 2008
