Santo Domingo. - The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts scattered showers and thunderstorms mostly for the southeast, southwest, Central Mountains and border zone.

It said the showers during the next 48 hours aren’t expected to be heavy.

Meteorology adds that the humidity dragged by the southeast wind will bring higher than normal temperatures.
