As the deafening sound of victory from the PLD party voters echoes throughout the nation of the

Dominican Republic,a soiled, tired, sad and beaten down Josean saddles his donkey Hippo, then

looking into the horizon,Josean mumbles : I'll be back...louder,more nonsensical and "stupider"

than ever,I SWEAR..!!.

Hippo brays in agreement, then slowly but sure, they begin their journey back to their homeland...

.....the land of losers.

THE END.

I wrote this forecast two days ago:

Written by: generoso, 18 May 2012 10:34 AM
From: United States, Quisqueya
The weather forecast predicts 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday:
May 20 TH, 2012

Scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the low 70s.
hi 84
lo 73
11 mph SE
50% Chance of rain.

Nobody can surely forecast the outcome, but the way I we see it Medina and his allies will probably win with a comfortable margin of 6% of the votes (out of a possible universe of 4.5 million voters), and win in the first round. The final outcome should look like this:
PRD- 2,025,000 votes for 45% of total votes counted.
PLD-2,295,000 votes for 51% of total votes counted
Other parties- 4% of the votes for 180,0000 votes counted.
I will also predict that unless the percentages are extremely close, that the losers will accept the final outcomes, and concede.

Josey,

Better get that Carnival Application Ready ASAP!!!!!

----------------------------

That 48% would give their votes to that ENORMOUSLY INEPT personality says a lot about the power of irrational behavior in popular democracy.

Far better to have demonstrated some intelligence and have voted for Guillermo Moreno. At least that candidate can think and chew gum at the same time.

Happy to see that the voters, although by a very slim margin-HOPEFULLY IT WIDENS AS WE CONTINUE TO RECEIVE MORE INFORMATION-have continued with the PLD over the inept reincarnation of Papá. Only Josey, Basta and a few others took cover under his apron.

WRONG approach Atabey, rather than insult those that voted for the PRD you should ask WHY the PLD with a far better candidate is NOT going to win by landslide, but will actually do by a very slim margin, what this means going to the Future of your beloved goverment is that you actually have WAY MORE than half of the population against you...As i already said here, i would be VERY carefull with the IMFsh!t unless i wan't to see a Dominican Spring

And just in case, I voted for Guillermo Moreno...Back to REALITY, next Friday the Gasoline will go to the Moon

While you clowns are busy gloating that you bought the election and can now spend another 4 years destroying everything good about this country remember, please that not only the PRD lost, not only Mejia lost, not only Josean lost (and I, for one truly believe that he wanted Moreno to win, not Mejia) the real losers are the Dominican people. We get 4 more years of raising illiterate children, 4 more years of out of control corruption, 4 more years of contracts without bids, 4 more years of a lack of transparency in government, 4 more years of underpaid police, 4 more years of a government that employees more than 600,000 when only 150,000 (maybe) are needed, 4 more years of underpaid Police, 4 more years of projects that are needed only to fill the politicians pockets rather than to help the pueblo. In short 4 MORE YEARS OF MIERDE!!!!!!!

Subsidies in various sectors have to come down. Tax collection more efficient. Property registration fulfilled nationally. Modernity and development demand better governance by DR's leadership class. And if the leaders fail, then VOTE THE BUMS OUT OF OFFICE.

ohhvictor u never anwser my question ,why don't u answer it.am not joesan, iam actully dominican -american like urself and and here for honest discussion.in case u haven't seen what i ask u i ask about 5?first if u believe leonel is a dictor and is on a power trip.next if danilo medina is just a puppet for leonel and the the fernadez reyna family.next knowing u love the metro so much do u agree if there should be a national metro and train like amtrak which goes from the capitol to santiago and then in the future from east to west that can carry people and goods.were a person can get to the capitol in 50 miutes and can travel everyday to job and come home like en ny with the mtero-north and new jersy transit.remember most people don't have cars in the dr.and last but not least what do u think the pld party did wrong the last 8 years that u didn't like and u would change.iam very curious to know my friend.and i left u love a little while ago.congrates on ur victory 2 day.

1.- If EVERYBODY national and international medias and observers...Everybody including the american embassy saying that everything was ok.. How come that telesistemas , out of the blues and without proof say that PRD won? That's incitation! That's way illegal!

2.-I CERTAINLY dont think that Leonel is a dictador..It's WAY more democrat than Obama..

3.-Danilo is nobodys puppet. he is a very hard working individual, the best secretary of state EVER

4.-Corruption is the grease of economy and goverments. The same thing in USA but under the curtain of sophisticated organizations , foundation etc, made by corporations.. That's why obama s*x big
time!

5.- I honestly think that the best thing that happens , with the best organization for the progress of D.R. is PLD

6.- I agree that an Amtrak train would be a excellent idea for transportation of goods and people without union and for a fraction of the price

The only difference between the PLD and the PRD is that with the PLD the D.R. is less F*cked.
Both are extreme left, socialist government that believe in High taxes. High regulation and heavy, business cronyism combined with "Nanny State" control and the restrictions of Personal Freedoms.
The Political class in the D.R. is just an amplified copy of the majority of the populace who a seek a handout or to steal than to actually work and earn for themselves. The only difference is that the PLD are better educated and aren't as outlandish as the P.R.D. Now if you were to combined the worse of both parties and you get that Chavez, wannabee Guillermo Moreno

This must be one of the most ignorant comments on Dominican society ever made"

I don't know much about Moreno, but the rest seems pretty accurate to me, except the "high regulation" bit. This country is almost devoid of regulation.

-Thanks God we 're done with speculations and lies..Now we can live in peace

-Nadie puede decir ahora que va a sembrar de yuca los tuneles y destruir el metro..

-PLD was the best choice because Danilo is the best option for dominicans..And the route for prosperity for our people..

Airgordo I suppose u are "full of hot air and no balls" . Everbody has a right to point out the obvious faults around them wherever they are. And it is a hell of a lot to critizise in the DR. If u do not agree with this u are just another ignorant, proud with no brain. I am certain that dominicans abroad do complain over faults in other societies, however u have quite a lot of dominicans that do not obey the law in other countries, killing, robbing, drugs etc. You should tell them get back to the DR asap and force them to get some education and manners before taking their shit to other countries. However, I doubt very much if it is possible to be educated with good manners in the DR.

Hello u blindfolded. You know who u are.
There is NO insult from me. You make yourself a big insult. For the last 3-4 years I've been on this site there is nothing but complaints of the dominican society from 95% of the writers of this site. Politicians robbing blind, endemic corruption, corrupt justice system and inadequate laws, violance all time high, electric sector not functioning, no fundings for education, drugs etc etc etc etc.
The ones on here that do not accept the miserable state this country is at, must have a personal gain at keeping it the way it is. All others should do their outmost for a change. If you think you will get any respect or recognicion the way it is you are just plain ignorants. When u stop whining and do more than blow hot air, then and only then u are in for respect, until so look in the mirror.
