Santo Domingo.- The United States Embassy congratulated Danilo Medina as president elect from Sunday’s polling and called the process “generally open, free and fair.”
In a brief statement to the media, the US Embassy adds and that the results reflect “the will of the Dominican people.”
It also congratulates the country’s population “for having conducted efficient orderly elections on May 20.”
