Santo Domingo.- The Public Works Ministry closed two east-west lanes of the Juan Bosch bridge today, to replace the structure’s rubber and steel-reinforced joints.

It said the measure seeks to provide give motorists a safe and fast way to enter and exit the city, adding that the lanes will be closed from 10 am to 5 am the next day ruing one month, to install the 31 new joints.

Public Works added that the group Odebrecht is in charge of the work on the infrastructure.

Replaced because they were stolen..Joints that needed diamond point heads to be cut with...Who would have this type of tools to cut those joints?
Maybe the same individuals replacing them?

Is there anything of which Odebrecht is not in charge? They do a great job, it's true, but how do they gt so much work.

They do such good work that we should put them in charge of the Police and our failed education system.

thats because group Odebrecht is a Brazilian company owned by Norberto Odebrecht. they offer the best prices and when they fix something or built it's clase A with the best materials.. take a look at Centro Olympico.

Glad that this bridge is getting the long overdue maintenance ,,it is really needed .all the bridges get much traffic every day and on some the joints of some flexible material , I do not know what exactly ,have almost totally disappearedm just through age and useage
