Santo Domingo.- A small plane with an undetermined number of people on board crashed in a farm near the village Los Cadillos, at Licey Arriba, Santiago province, with no injures to passengers or crew reported thus far.

Santiago media report that the plane’s pilot tried to make an emergency landing on a filed planted with sweet potatoes, but the plane flipped at the last minute and ended up upside down.

The media said Luis Jérez and Luis Genao were injured when the Carly 1450, registry HI 55, trainer type plane crashed and was totally destroyed

Um... I hate to tell you this, but the registration number is clearly HI561, not HI55. Look at the picture.

It's also a Cessna, not a Carly... *roll eyes*
