Santo Domingo.- The downpours and thunderstorms will continue for most of the country, from trough over the Bahamas, a low pressure system located over the south-western Caribbean and the humidity dragged by the east wind.

The National Meteorology Office forecasts downpours for most regions except the northwest, but not as intense and frequent.

It also forecasts that the tropical wave over the Windward Islands will pass south of the country, with no significant precipitation expected along the Caribbean coasts.

Meanwhile the Emergency Operations Center maintains flash flood warnings for urban areas of Greater Santo Domingo, San Cristobal, Santiago, San Jose de Ocoa, Peravia, Azua and Barahona provinces.
