Yes there is the women's section in DR jail, but in all honesty, most females prisoners rather be in the company of male prisoners, than with the hard core femmes.

I am a regular visitor to the DR and am born British and lived in England all my life, Put a women from DR in front of me and a Women from Unighted Kingdom and I will choose the Dominican Women every time, British women are totally screwed in the head, They are selfish and self centered and totally full of themselves.
Dominican Republic women are kind lovely and the Love they have is true and from the heart for the want of nothing but to be truly loved back.
I have been free and single for 2 years since breaking up with My DR Girl Awi and that way it will stay as I am not prepared to put myself with a gold digging nutty English girl.
And Dominican Women are so much stronger they are lovely, Dominican women any day of the week, British women are just yuk

If she hadn't run over him several times she could have claimed it was an accident, since the Civilized Brits Drive on the Wrong Side of the Road; but then come to think of it So do WE!

She'll be sentenced to a women's prison & it won't be that bad at all. I'd rather be in DR jail than in US/UK jail, that's for sure! In DR jail you buy a private cell ($500 in the mid-1990's) with your own key (it's like an apartment), have a DVD player, rum, cell phone, weed, food, whatever you can afford really. The smart thing to do is buy a couple extra beds & invite a couple Dominicans to live with you to be a bodyguards & do the cooking/cleaning.

I simply cannot believe some of the braindead comments I have read here. He was a close friend and about as nice a person you have ever met. The community in which he had lived is very shaken up and his family devestated. Anyone saying he must have deserved it or something similar has no clue what a great person he was and that anyone who does anything she is accused of is clearly nuts for lack of a better term. Please, if you didn't know him, don't embarress yourself with stupid comments and allow him to be remembered for the good person he was.

If this was a gruesome murder what was the murder of those two young ladies labeled as, happened a year or so back, who was run down and killed by this famous baseball player, because he couldnt get to one of them. I wonder if someone could enlighten me at which jail he is serving time right now.

Even if that were the case..are you somehow insinuating that what transpired is well deserved as a result? The man was run over like an animal, again and again. This is a tragic loss for everyone and my condolences to both famlies. However, I do not believe this was a simple case of spontaneous combustion. There was something which triggered this women to commit such a violent and horrendous act regardless of how nice this guy was. People don't just run over others from one day to the next unless she was already mentally insane and if that is the case the guy should have run for his life and not gotten further involved with this women. But hey hindsight is only 20/20. The smart thing to do is always pick your battles, one you know for sure ya'gonna win and unfortunately this was one battle too many.

Don't want to judge without fact, but she must've had enough ,though ,as a Doninican / British myself, I know how certain female Brits behave, either at home or abroad but there are lots of Dominican males out there ( Muy Chulos), whom have no respect for women of any kind and ,for what Dominican women is concerned, they aren't my cup of tea really. There's nothing compares to a well spoken , sweet and good Lay Colombian female,. woooouuh, Ay papito, que dulce son Las Colombis, nice accent and the best spoken Spanish in the world.

Many gruesome and hateful crimes against women are committed every day by low-lifes bent on imposing their macho superiority. The abuse and humiliation suffered by women throughout the world, but especially in DR, is more than reason enought to kill the beast many times over, and justified it with impunity for the victim.

I suspect this sensationalized event might have been a "crime of passion", and should be punished accordingly, but what happens to so many women today in this nation, is something horrific that does not carry enought penalties for the perpetrator that are freed to do the same again to some other hapless creature.

I've know the both of them for a while and there must have happened something really bad otherwise I can't explain this at all, he was a very sweet loving man but she (nicole) loved him very very much , so I wonder what triggered her to go this far, but I really feel for both families cos I can't imagine that she did this on purpose , she must have been out of her mind and very very hurt, Nicole is not the person who would normally do this, they were married for a few years. But I must say I can imagine that some women ( and I can't speak for Nicole cos she is not a close friend ) can get fed up with the sankie plays that are going on and it is getting worse every year..maybe some just have been hurt one time to often and this is the result, but I am only guessing.
Just don't judge untill you know the facts, that is all I am trying to say.
