Ruby was a Dominican icon, and never made any pretensions to anyone that he was something else than a gigolo, a raconteur, and a legendary playboy.

I don't know what is wrong with this tourim minister Francisco Javier Garcia ?Doesn't he know

that Porfirio Rubirosa was known before DR was Known in Europe or USA.?Besides putting DR

in the map ,he also introduced POLO into the country as well as been a plus for DR tourism. I am

DR should exploit Rubirosa's image and notoriety as much as possible. Very simple marketing could make the island an even bigger lure for all types of tourists. Imagine a smart creative campaign in which Cortez as one of the first conquistadors lived in DR, & you market his house as a mini destination. He was also the cousin of Nicolas de Ovando. Like the Rubirosa thing if done properly it could work. Plus we all need a clown and a comedian and thanks to Josean we have both. Don't hate a brother.
