SANTO DOMINGO.- The National District prosecutor announced Monday she’ll request popular singer Antonio Peter de la Rosa’s (Omega) incarceration this afternoon and warned she’ll continue to be tough against aggressors of women even if they are show business figures.
Yeni B. Reynoso said Omega’s behavior is of repeated violence and should be sent to prison. "We’re talking about a person who’s been processed more than three times for the same offense and the District Attorney must respond to society taking into account the incidents’ special characteristics."
She said she’ll motion the court for de la Rosa’s incarceration while the investigation concludes, and this time not in a prison where he feels he’s on vacation.
The official said regardless if it’s a businessperson, politicians or artist all those accused of violence against women will be subjected to the same treatment.

She said that her daughter's life is more important than all the Constitutions of the world.

The patient is hospitalized at the Centro de Salud del Seguro de los Maestros (SEMMA). Hematologist Julio Amado Castanos Guzman told Hoy that if chemotherapy is not applied the patient and the baby could both die.

I imagine that such intemperance by a prosecutor in many countries would jeopadise a case ,,especially as it is outside the court and could be seen to directly influence a decision But even , in the appalling justice system here , the decision is for the judges , hopefully based on evidence rather than emotional outbursts.
