MIAMI, – VOXXI, the premier site for independent analysis and commentary with a Hispanic focus, announced today that it will be the exclusive media partner for the Dominican American National Roundtable’s (DANR) 15th Annual National Leadership Summit from July 26th - July 28th and The Dominican American National Council (NDAC).  The DANR is a non-profit organization that advocates for Dominican and Latino political and social empowerment.

“VOXXI is proud to partner with the DANR and NDAC to promote this extraordinary event that celebrates five decades of the Dominican community’s cultural and social influence in our country, ” said Emilio C. Sanchez, president & editor-in-chief, VOXXI.  “By providing comprehensive coverage on the Dominican Summit, we will continue to positively influence the American public opinion about Dominicans.”

The DANR’s 15th Annual National Leadership Summit has panelists discuss social, economic and political realities facing Dominicans. “The First Historic Dominican Celebration,” taking place at the National Mall on Saturday, July 28th, is one of the main highlights of the Summit.

“DANR is pleased to team up with VOXXI for this historic gathering in our nation’s capital to celebrate Dominican influence and over 50 years of contributions,” said Dr. Maria Teresa Montilla, President of the DANR.  “VOXXI’s support of DANR demonstrates its commitment to cover important issues impacting Dominicans, especially during this pivotal moment in our history.”

VOXXI chairman and co-founder, Dr. Salomon Melgen, will be among the honorees for his professional achievements, contributions and service to Dominicans.  Dr. Melgen will be featured in the DANR’s “Dominican List” highlighting successes of approximately 400 Dominicans.

“The success of the Dominican community depends on whether we can unify all the Latino communities to form one strong political and economic force. I’m honored to be receiving this honor from an advocacy organization that empowers Dominicans and defends our community’s issues on the national stage,” said Dr. Melgen.

The event will feature stellar Dominican stars such as Milly Quezada, known as La Reyna del Merengue, Pulitzer Prize winning author, Junot Diaz, New York Senator Adriano Espaillat, among others.

I see it in abundance here and Haiti and worldwide.
Sounds good, feels good, but smells bad.
