Santo Domingo.- A tropical wave northeast of the island combined with the east-southeast wind will bring widely scattered showers with thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon over the northeast, southeast, Central Mountains and border area.

For the next 24 to 48 hours the Meteorology Offices forecasts scattered showers, more frequent over the southeast, Central Mountains and the border area, with increasing cloudiness and heavier rains Monday, from an approach of tropical depression located east of the Lesser Antilles.
