Santo Domingo.- While a high percentage of DT readers feel that the country shouldn’t have more than five generals, a nearly equal number don’t seem too concerned with the unrivaled number of those senior officers in the military and police

When asked “How many generals should the DR have?”, the response “No more than 5, if that... –“ drew 495 votes, or 42.2%, followed by “I generally don't give a hoot,” –with 479 votes, or 40.8%

The response “Not one, we're not at war,” drew 104 votes, or 8.8%, rounded out by “The 40 announced is about right,” with 94 Votes, or 8.02% of the readers who took part in the unscientific poll.

From: United States, Dame LUZ..24/7 and everyone will progress!
There should be 2 next to the president 24/7 just in case #1 goes loco then #2 will take him out or viseversa. As far as the rest of the country, break it up in 3 sections, with each given a commander who will report back to #1 or #2. I think a total of 5 plus the president is enough to protect the DR from Japan and Nazi Germany in 2012 and beyond. If not satisfied than wait another 20 years and bring back Trujillo (DNA technology etc) and keep your fingers crossed!
