Except in the Media where is the PRSC right of center?
The perception in DR is that the PRSC still Conservative because they WERE during the leadership of Dr. Joaquin Balaguer. So they are assuming that the party is still Conservative. There is no such thing as Conservative in DR anymore or in Latin America for that matter. The only party that can be considered Conservative in the country is Fuerza Nacional and they had only 1% of the votes in the last May election.
During the Balaguer's PRSC era we used to have small government, most of the people did not know how to eat Taxes, moral values was very high on the government agenda and was very stricktly enforced by the authority. Nationalism and Traditionalism was the hour of the time front and center.
Tested by fire!!
