Santo Domingo.- More than half of DT readers see nothing but trouble ahead for president Danilo Medina and his administration, and blame the previous chief executive Leonel Fernandez of leaving a host of woes for his colleague of the ruling PLD party

When asked “What did the ex President leave for Medina?,” 1,950 readers (51.94%) said “A host of calamities,” followed by “The usual problems, nothing critical ,” with 610 votes, or 16.25%.

Close behind were the responses “A fairly vigorous economy,” and  “Too early to tell,” both with 597 votes, or 15.90%, of the readers who took part in the weekly, non-scientific poll.

Medina could become an IMMORTAL HERO along with Sanchez, Mella, Duarte, Caamaño and the Mirabals, if he tried and convicted Lie-onel, Felix Bautista and other corrupt criminals; otherwise he has as much of a future as a Snow Ball in Hell!

"Minister of the armed forces Says he is investigating "popular trials" against Leonel Fernandez"

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic.- The Minister for the armed forces confirms this Thursday the investigation into alleged plan of popular trials against former President Leonel Fernandez.
Siegfried Pared Perez gave this information after being questioned by journalistic during a ceremony this morning at the headquarters of the Ministry.

Various opposition groups are seeking to become part of what at the moment called "popular trials" against former President Leonel Fernández in the provinces, for alleged acts of corruption in his Government, according to a publication of the newspaper Listin Diario.

The intention is to create a few select committees of public personalities or influential people in provinces so they integrate or lead a kind of "mini-tribunal", from which to promote "popular trials" against certain irregular actions or of alleged corruption in the previous Government, according to reports by knowledgeable sources, to the newspaper.

medina has his hands tied by his handlers,leo,margarita,you get the message he would never sirvive if he turns on them.i wish him and all of us luck.guys what we need to do is presure the US,and EUROPE to not allow these criminals to travel to any of there countries
