San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.- San Cristóbal province sentencing judge Willy de Jesus Nuñez on Wednesday ruled against parole for money laundering convict Sobeida Felix, noting that the inmate doesn’t meet the conditions required for such measure.

Nuñez also ruled that with the time she’s served in prison hasn’t paid her debt to society for the damage caused by her actions. She has served 30 months of a five year sentence.

The ruling didn’t consider the plea bargaining agreement with the National District Office of the Prosecutor.

Núñez said the person who was to serve as the inmate’s guarantor didn’t even know the place where she was to serve the prison term, one of the most important conditions for her parole.

Morel, who gained notoriety as the paramour of Puerto Rican kingpin Jose Figueroa Agosto, arrived in court escorted by a heavily armed agents after 2pm and neither she nor her lawyer made any statement on the hearing.

It was learned that Felix’s attorney, Felix Portes will appeal the ruling in the San Cristobal Court of Appeals.

This from the same comical judges, with funny names and largely inept, who often dismiss drug and murder criminals without cause and who are mostly corrupt. Our judicial system should make everyone of us ashamed-yes, ashamed!

I could go on to talk about the regrettable situation with property titles and such, but I would probably need 5k words just to describe my own situation.

Perhaps it is high time we outsourced our whole judicial and military system. Singapore and Switzerland come to mind.

The most notorious convict !!!!!
Shouldn't the military officers involved in drug trafficking that are sitting in jail be considered "The most notorious convict"? Why are we calling this woman " The most notorious convict ", when she was just caught up in a love triangle and coerced into being the bag lady by the PIPE LAYING DRUG DEALIN PORTORIKAN that was left alone in the dominican republic while on the lam to do what he pleases under the administration of leonel fernandez

She looks well for someone who has spent 30 months in a Dominican jail. Is she paying for that special treatment that we keep hearing about? One thing is for certain, she is anxious to get out and I have a hunch that it has something to do with the money. The mula she is hiding (the emergency stash) is probably buried in some backyard. I bet you that within a week of her release date, she will be driving a new mercedes and shopping in the boutiques with all that hard earned cash.

I'm confused - but that's nothing new. Who's 'Morel'? I thought her name is 'Sobeida Felix'. Where did I get lost? NURSE! NURSE!.... Please bring me my meds.

Hey....Here's a thought: Maybe they're hanging' onto her for her own protection. Releasing her may be a death sentence considering her alleged "plea bargaining agreement with the National District Office of the Prosecutor."

I wonder what that deal contained. And I wonder who's stroking the paycheques for her lawyer. Often the real story lies more within what is 'not' said.

(Note: I have always been amused at how crime leaders are traditionally described by a word invented for bowling paraphernalia. Why not use an appropriately definitive word such as 'criminal'? LOL)
