Santo Domingo.- Notorious urban music star Antonio Peter de la Rosa (Omega) yesterday vowed to sue the also notorious Arab-American businessman Karim Abu Naba'a for an alleged debt of more than US$100,000 for the sale of a luxyry vehicle and other items.

He said while in New York he paid Abu US$13,000 for a BMW remote control car, US$75,000 for a jet-pack (device to fly) and a bus with fireworks, but didn’t produce any of the items.

The pop singer said that the country "made an echo" that Abu had not paid the money owed him, and that while in New York an installment  for the jet-pack was delayed, for which his housed was confiscated by the businessman.

De la Rosa spoke at the Ciudad Nueva Courthouse after a pretrial hearing for allegedly beating a female dancer, who later dropped the charges, after being sent to prison last year.

Another great product from our Banana Republic. Morons like this one gives D.R. a bad name, as if we don't have enough people giving us a bad name.

DONT BE SILENT, i feel no sympathy for Omega, having been swindled. there is an old saying that a fool and his money are soon parted. 75,000 dollars on a jet pack? i hope that someone sells this fool an ice factory at the North Pole.

Dread,
I used to race stadium trucks out of a place under the 59th street bridge, I was once payed to slow down for the Japanese champ that had a photo shoot that day for R/C Action Magazine. A 13k piece has to be a 1/5 scale with weedwaker motors.

So, this Arab guy was the one that used the military to conduct a home invasion on Omega when in NYC... and confiscated what he felt was payback.

I'm sick of these two clowns and all their circus tricks. They'll do and say anything for some attention! RC cars and jetpacks!? Shut up already!

I could have sworn R/C BMW and jetpack was mentioned in the article..

All you gotta do is log-off and continue your sheltered life, in seclusion from society... you must lack childhood memories.

This has to be a freaking joke , first of all no one listens to this guys music, which is not even music . Second jet packs are not commercially available , and 75k would be a joke price to pay for such a device. The RC car I believe since I own a hobby shop in p.a and have high priced turbine car setups.. I really don't believe this story though and the writing is that of a Washington heights scumbag .

Omega, I got some stuff for sale too.
1) The brain you so evidently lack... US $20 (a twenty dollar brain would be a step up anyway)
2) A full size BMW with a trunk big enough for a jet pack... US $75,000

Notorious must be the word of the day." Tomorrow"s word is, infamous.
