Medina gets to touch World Cup soccer trophy

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Friday became Dominican Republic’s first President to touch Fifa World Cup’s soccer trophy, when he received executives of the organization and of Coca Cola.

In Medina’s hands was the 18k solid gold trophy, of the World Cup of soccer, as part of its tour prior to the championship slated for Brazil in 2014.
