CNN to feature Dominican who defied bikers in brutal beating

New York.- The network CNN on Thursday announced thatDominican activist Sergio Consuegra was named extraordinary person of the year2013, and will be featured in a special broadcast at 10pm dedicated to part ofhis life and the good Samaritan’s heroic action.

The one-hour program hosted by anchor Anderson Cooper andjournalist Robin Meade will show Consuegra’s action during the September 29 incidentinvolving dozens of bikers who attacked Chinese national Alexian Lien, his wifeand his daughter, shattering his SUVs side window.

As Lien laid unconscious from the brutal beating, theimage of a defiant Consuegra was captured by NY Post photo standing firm againstthe bikers to halt the assault.
