Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts  widely scattered showers over most of the country for Wednesday mostly in the afternoon, from the prevailing east wind.

The rains will more frequent over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains, and increasing cloudiness for the rest of the country.

It said the seasonably mild temperatures will continue during the next 48 hours will continue.

Onamet issued small craft advisories for all coasts on higher than normal waves, and shouldn’t venture out to sea.
