I havent been that much to DR. I have seen kindness and hospitality, however more of the opposite.

The problem in DR are that there have been for a very long time a huge difference in wealth among the dominicans. A superrich "elite" or maybe more accurate robbers, who are feeded on greed and most of the people in utter poverty. This situation obviously does not lead to a society with high moral standard. I pity the dominicans because it does not look like it is bound to be better in the near future.
